What are the system requirements to run the workshops?
Desktop (PC or Apple) or laptop with a sound card and Flash enabled. It runs on Android tablets but not currently on ipad (coming soon). You will also need internet connection to access additional features The workshops use Flash and an internet browser. Flash Player 7 or later is recommended and one of the following browsers: Windows Internet Explorer 7; Firefox 3.5 and later; Google Chrome.
How long is the program?
The MPP Program is 4 weeks in duration. Each of the four online virtual workshop
has a running time around an hour, however on average, we find people spend
just under two hours going through them. There are also mini tutorials, discussion
threads, webinars with the facilitators and online exercises to assist in developing the
skills. The optional face-to-face simulation workshops are one day each in duration
and tailored to each group.
Is the material linked to any national units of competency?
Yes. A Unit of Competency is an Australian National Standard that describes a
component of a job. Units of competency combine to form a qualification. These
sessions can be used to provide relevant underpinning skills and to prepare
someone for competency assessment.
Can we run it on our own LMS?
The MPP program is hosted on our website, however call us to discuss individual
session with can be run on a company LMS. The online virtual workshops are
Scorm and aicc compliant [Scorm 1.2; Scorm 2004]. This will enable you to track
usage and record completed training. Contact us for pricing details.
